How do I create a group?
Open SplitPaw, tap the “+” button in Groups, give it a name and currency, and invite others with a code. The free plan lets you keep up to 3 active groups.
How does receipt scanning work?
Take or upload a photo of the receipt and the AI pulls out the items and amounts for you. The free plan includes 3 scans per month; Premium raises that to 50.
Can I use multiple currencies?
Yes. Each group has its own currency, and you can log an expense in another currency with automatic conversion to the group's.
How do I mark a payment or settle a debt?
Inside the group, go to Balances and record the payment. Everyone's balances update instantly.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and only group members can see their group's info. You can delete a group or your account anytime from the app.
How do I report or block someone?
In chat you can report a message or block a user. For urgent reports, email us at report@splitpaw.app.
